Whether journalists or non-journalists, to inspire individual, personal writing on a daily basis, Gratitude Rock-Journal/Diary of Positive Thoughts, a new program for iPhone and iPod Touch users, provides a way to record thoughts and feelings on a daily basis, notes Grumpy Editor. For media folks and others, it’s a way to unwind after a hectic day and record thoughts while listening to the program’s sounds and images of the ocean. Gratitude Rock, introduced a few days ago, already is in the top 100 list of programs in the Lifestyle category at Apple Inc.’s iTunes App Store. “Keeping a Gratitude Rock with you is a unique way to remind yourself to be thankful for all the good things in your life,” reminds its developer, Greg Morris, of Energize Software, Thousand Oaks, Calif. “This program helps you focus on things you are grateful for and will help to bring more of those things into your life and enrich your life.” One of the attractions is the ability to add up to three pictures a day that tie in with thoughts and feelings of that day. Another feature is an inspirational quote of the day. Among other features: • Easily read thoughts and view pictures from previous days. • Select up to four fonts with 16 colors and adjust text size. • Perform a text search to find important events from the past. • Backup or restore pictures and text wirelessly to/from any desktop computer using the computer's browser (local WiFi connection). • Optionally secure all information with a passcode. Check out further details here. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Grumpy Editor’s end-of-week leftover notes appear on Saturdays.
